Circuito Europeo Team Race 2k: nel week end la vela 2.0 sbarca a Marina di Ravenna

Marina di Ravenna, 17 aprile 2017 - Continua a pieno ritmo la stagione velica promossa dal Circolo Velico Ravennate che, nel weekend dal 21 al 23 aprile, ospiterà una tappa del Circuito Europeo di Team Race 2k.   Saranno sei i team impegnati in acqua, che si alterneranno in regate con quattro TOM 28, per disputare sfide due contro due: una formula di vela innovativa, quella del Team Race, che sta attirando un pubblico sempre più ampio, come dimostra anche la composizione dell'equipaggio ravennate, costituito da un numero pari di uomini e donne.

L'attività dei team partecipanti, due dei quali italiani, in rappresentanza del Circolo Velico Ravennate e dello Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, con gli altri provenienti da Regno Unito, Olanda e Germania, sarà monitorata da umpire internazionali, ovvero da veri e propri arbitri pronti a intervenire per sanzionare in tempo reale eventuali infrazioni regolamentari.

Nuovo anche il format e la location delle regate promosse dal circolo di Via Molo Dalmazia, che la prossima settimana vedrà le imbarcazioni incrociare all'interno delle dighe. 

Il Circolo Velico Ravennate ospiterà poi, più avanti nella stagione, a settembre, un evento internazionale di simile portata: equipaggi da tutta europa si sfideranno in duelli uno contro uno, in puro stile match race.

Marina di Ravenna, April 17th 2017 - The sailing season promoted by Circolo Velico Ravennate is going on at full rhythm: on the weekend between April 21^st and 23^rd, the club will host a leg of the Team Race 2k European Circuit.

There will be six teams crossing in the waters of Marina di Ravenna on board of four TOM28, challenging each other in 2 vs. 2 races. That of Team Race is an innovative formula of sailing that is attracting an always wider share of audience, as demonstrated also by the composition of the team from Ravenna, made up of an equal number of men and women.

The activities of the teams, two of which Italian representing the Ravenna Sailing Club and the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and with the others coming from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany, will be monitored by international umpires, which is to say by actual referees ready to intervene to sanction in real time any regulatory infractions.

The format and the location of the races organized by Circolo Velico Ravennate are innovative, too: next week, in fact, the sailboats will be sailing inside the channel of the port of Ravenna.

 

Circolo Velico Ravennate is going to host, later in the season and in particular in September, an international event of similar importance to that of this weekend: crews from all over Europe will compete in one vs. one races, pure match racing style.
