European North Sails Surprise Sailing Series 2014



Marina degli Aregai - Optimal conclusion in the splendid location of Marina degli Aregai of the second Act of the European North Sails Surprise Sailing Series characterized by variable weather and sea conditions.  On Friday the strong winds around 35 knots from the Northeast has not allowed the race Committee to wrangle any race while in the other two days a lightweight wind variable in direction coming from West around 6-8 knots allow to make 5 races.
 
The winner of the Act 2 is the Suisse Team SUI 750 TEO JAKOB helmed by Michel Glaus with Jean Luc Leveque of Europ Sails with his regularity (4-1-2-1-1) as well as winning the Act 2 of North Sails European Surprise Sailing Series takes the lead of the entire circuit.
In second place the Italians of TWINS ITA 1516 helmed by Vailati Cesare of A.V.Monvalle winning the silver on Act 2 it ranks second  on the ranking of the Sailing Series. The lowest rung of the podium was conquered by TV SURF SUI 683 helmed by Andrea Colombo coming from Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano.
 
The Marina degli Aregai Surprise Championship ,came to its first edition, was organized by the Circolo Nautico Arma &Yacht Club Aregai & Perchinaviga Yachts, the Italian Dealer Archambault, under the supervision of the International Surprise Class.
The next Acts of the North Sails European Surprise Sailing Series will be the Bol d'Or in mid-June in Geneva and the Surprise European Championship that will be held in Friedrichshafen in Germany in August where he will be held in Germany in Friedrichshafen where will be  proclaimed the winner of the circuit which will win one Spynnaker offered by North Sails Suisse.
