Floor was born on july 18th 1980 in Bergen(NH) the Netherlands.
She started sailing at a young age and became very good at it. From laser to radial to Hobie 16 to F18 class. In all these classes she's has won a lot of prices especialy in the F18 class.
After her study photography and journalism she left the Netherlands to live in Milan to become a freelance photographer.
...She worked as a photographer in fashion, journalism and her passion watersports.
After a few years she moved to a house with ocean view in Arenzano where she lived the rest of her years.
Late april 2011 La Repubblica gave her an assigment to go to Tripoli in Libië to make pictures of the riots. The first day of shooting she got hit by a bullet which was not meant for her. She did not survive.
Her funeral was may 9th 2011 in Arenzano.
As you can see in her photo albums, her passion were people and sailing.
