Conquering Cancer at the America’s Cup Endeavour Junior Regattas


Fourteen-year-old British sailor, Alex Hamel, competed in and won the America’s Cup Endeavor Hobie Wave Junior Regatta during the 35th America's Cup. Alex’s father, Chris, has been seriously ill since being diagnosed with bowel and liver cancer in 2015 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Hear from both of them on their journeys, and how through fundraising and donations from those who support them, Alex was able to travel to Bermuda to compete with her Dad looking on.
