Luna Rossa ha completato il percorso di regata di 15.53 miglia in 47 minuti, 36 secondi navigando a una velocità media di 24.7 nodi e raggiungendo un picco massimo di 39.71 nodi. Artemis Racing ha invece navigato una media di 24.0 nodi e ha toccato una velocità massima di 37.25 nodi. Luna Rossa Challenge tornerà in regata contro Artemis Racing domani, sabato 10 agosto, per il quarto match delle semifinali della Louis Vuitton Cup.

Max Sirena ha dichiarato:“Bella partenza e bella regata: siamo riusciti a chiudere il nostro avversario e a rimanere poi sempre in controllo durante tutta la regata. Adesso sostituiremo l’ala uno con l’ala due per fare i test necessari e decidere se utilizzarla nella regata di domani. ”
