Dal 29 giugno al 2 luglio l’ASDEC, l’Associazione
Scafi d’Epoca e Classici fondata a Milano nel 1987, celebrerà il trentennale
della nascita con un Raduno Motonautico Internazionale che si svolgerà tra il
Lago Maggiore e il Lago d’Orta. La partecipazione è aperta a tutte le
imbarcazioni d’epoca e classiche a motore. La flotta farà base presso il
Verbano Yacht Club di Stresa. In programma la circumnavigazione delle isole
Borromee, un pranzo a Villa Crespi con lo chef Cannavacciuolo, visite
culturali, esposizione di auto storiche, l’esibizione in volo di aerei storici
e barche a vela d’epoca.

Sono aperte le iscrizioni al grande Raduno Motonautico
Internazionale che dal 29 giugno al 2
luglio 2017 celebrerà i 30 anni
dell’ASDEC (www.asdec.it), l’Associazione
Scafi d’Epoca e Classici fondata a Milano nel 1987 con lo scopo di riunire gli
appassionati di imbarcazioni da diporto e da lavoro a motore, a remi e a vela,
per assisterli nel restauro, rimessaggio e conservazione. All’evento in
programma potranno iscriversi le barche d’epoca e classiche a motore in grado di navigare a una velocità di crociera minima di 30 km/h
e altre più recenti, ammesse a discrezione del Comitato Organizzatore, che per
disegno o per costruzione rivestano interesse per le tradizioni nautiche. L’evento
ha ricevuto il patrocinio e il sostegno della Città di Stresa.
NAVIGAZIONI, GARE DI
REGOLARITÀ, AUTO, VELIVOLI e VELE D’EPOCA
La flotta farà base presso il Verbano Yacht Club di Stresa, sulla sponda piemontese, dove potrà
essere ammirata all’ormeggio. Tra le iniziative programmate nel corso delle tre
giornate una serie di visite culturali, un pranzo presso il ristorante ‘due
stelle Michelin’ di Antonino
Cannavacciuolo a Villa Crespi, sul Lago
d’Orta, la circumnavigazione delle isole
Borromee sul Lago Maggiore (Isola
Bella, Isola dei Pescatori e Isola Madre), prove di regolarità, visite ad Arona, ai Castelli di Cannero e alle rocche affacciate sul Verbano. Domenica
2 luglio partecipanti ed appassionati potranno ammirare l’esposizione delle Jaguar storiche sul lungolago di Stresa, il
passaggio a volo radente di una squadriglia di velivoli storici e una veleggiata di vele d’epoca dell’Associazione Vele d’Epoca Verbano (scarica il

Raduni – Calendario). Partner dell’evento coinvolti nella celebrazione del
trentennale ASDEC Mediolanum Private Banking, Ferrari Trento 1902, Spirito

Parco e Museo del Volo, Design&Artbook.

Dopo l’arrivo delle imbarcazioni presso il Cantiere
Nautico Semprinia di Baveno e il trasferimento al Verbano Yacht Club, previsto
nella giornata di giovedì 29 giugno, il programma prevede i seguenti

Venerdì 30 giugno - Lago d’Orta

Ore 10.00 – arrivo al paese di
Orta San Giulio. Imbarco sui caratteristici taxi locali. Navigazione del lago
d’Orta sino alla suggestiva Isola San Giulio. Sosta e visita dell’isola. Rientro
a Orta San Giulio.

Ore 13.30 – La “navigazione”
proseguirà attraverso un percorso enogastronomico nel ristorante due stelle
Michelin con lo Chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo all’interno della splendida Villa
Crespi Relais & Châteaux.

Ore 16.30 – visita al Sacro Monte
e alle 20 cappelle del XVII secolo dedicate a San Francesco.

Rientro a Stresa.

Ore 20.00 – Cena a bordo del

ASDEC - Associazione Scafi d’Epoca e Classici
L’ASDEC (Associazione
Scafi d’Epoca e Classici) è stata fondata a Milano nel 1987 da sette amici con
lo scopo di riunire tutti gli appassionati di scafi d’epoca e classici a
motore, a remi e a vela, sia da diporto che da lavoro. Tra gli scopi del
sodalizio quello di contribuire alla conservazione delle barche storiche e
della documentazione che le riguarda, mantenere un Registro Storico Nautico che
raccolga tutte le barche certificate, assistere i soci nelle fasi di restauro,
rimessaggio o manutenzione delle loro barche, segnalare una serie di cantieri
altamente specializzati nel refitting, promuovere o patrocinare incontri o
raduni nazionali e internazionali sui laghi, al mare o presso bacini interni,
fiumi o lagune.
Dal 2005
l’ASDEC è Club federato dell’ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano).
L’attuale
presidente ASDEC è l’avvocato milanese Fabio Malcovati, con alla vice
presidenza lo storico e progettista navale Paolo Lodigiani. La carica di
presidente onorario è ricoperta da GianAlberto Zanoletti, ‘anima’ e per ben 27
anni presidente di questo sodalizio nonché fondatore del Museo della Barca
Lariana di Pianello Lario (CO) dove sono conservate oltre 400 imbarcazioni
storiche (www.museobarcalariana.it).

of activity with an amazing International Boat meeting
From June 29th to July 2nd,
ASDEC - The Association of Vintage and Classic Boats, founded in Milan
in 1987, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with an exceptional
International boat meeting on Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta. The meeting
is open to all classic and vintage motorboats. The fleet will be based
at the Verbano Yacht Club in Stresa. The programme includes navigation
around the beautiful Borromean islands, lunch at Villa Crispi with the
famous chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo, cultural visits, a classic cars
exhibition and also a display of classic aircraft and classic sailing
boats.
Entries are open to this marvellous International boat meeting that will be held from from the 29th of June to the 2nd of July, 2017, to celebrate ASDEC’s 30th Anniversary (www.asdec.it), the Association of Vintage and classic boats, established in 1987 with the aim of bringing together people who share the passion for classic boats, runabouts, rowing boats, sailing boats and work vessels of all sizes and styles and helping its members to restore, keep and maintain these marvellous vessels. The meeting is open to all vintage and classic motorboats that are able to maintain a cruising speed of at least 30 kilometres per hour. The Organization has the faculty to admit more recent classic boats, provided that they are, due to their design or construction, of particular interest to nautical traditions. The event has been blessed with the patronage and support of the town of Stresa.

Among the planned events during the three days of the meeting there will be a series of cultural visits, lunch at the famous “two-star Michelin” restaurant of Antonino Cannavacciuolo at Villa Crespi, on Lake Orta, navigation around the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore (Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori e Isola Madre), boat trials, visits to Arona, to the Castles of Cannero and to the fortresses overlookingVerbano. PROGRAMME OF THE ASDEC 2017 MEETING
Upon
arrival of the boats at the “Cantiere Nautico Semprinia” in Baveno and
the transfer to the Verbano Yacht Club, on Thursday, June 29th, the programme of events is as follows:
Friday 30TH June - Lake Orta
- 9am - Departure (by coach) from the Verbano Yacht Club
- 10am – Arrival al the wonderful town of Orta San Giulio, where we will board the characteristic local “taxis”. Navigation around the lake – destination: the San Giulio Island where we will stop for a short visit. Navigation back to Orta San Giulio.
- 1:30pm – Our “navigation” continues in the hills overlooking Lake Orta, where we will be treated to a very special lunch in the Michelin two-star restaurant of Antonino Cannavacciuolo, located in the splendid, arabesque Villa Crespi Hotel of the Relais & Châteaux group.
- 4:30pm – Visit to the Sacro Monte devotional complex and its 20 chapels, dating back to the 17th century and dedicated to San Francesco.
- 8pm – Dinner on board the boat/restaurant “Battello del Sole” in Feriolo, not far from Stresa
Saturday July 1st - Stresa - Navigazione around the central part of Lake Maggiore
- Navigation along the Piedmont side of the lake and around the three magnificent Borromean islands.
- Lunch in the pretty town of Arona.
- Return to Stresa, along the Lombardy side of the lake where the magnificent Santa Caterina monastery is located.
- Candlelit dinner in the romantic restaurant of the luxurious Villa & Palazzo Aminta resort, part of the prestigious, The Leading Hotels of the World group, embellished with magnificent stuccos and exquisite decorations. The villa is located in a splendid garden behind the Verbano Yacht
Sunday July 2nd - Stresa – Trials – The Castles of Cannero
- 9:30am – Briefing in the garden of the del Verbano Yacht Club.
- 10am – non-competitive trials.
- Passage of the vintage sailing boats of our friends from AVEV – The Association of Classic Sailing Boats of Verbano.
- Flyover of the squadron of historical aircraft.
- Exhibition of classic Jaguars of members of the Jaguar Club Italy along the lakefront of Stresa.
- 1pm – Lunch at the Verbano Yacht Club and prize giving.
- 3pm – Navigation along the northern part of Lake Maggiore up to the Castles of Cannero (optional).

ASDEC – Association of classic and historical boats
ASDEC
was founded in 1987 by seven friends with the aim of bringing together
people who shared the passion for classic boats, not just classy
runabouts, but rowing boats, sailing boats and work vessels of all sizes
and styles. The
main aims of the Association are contributing to saving classic boats
and all the relative documentation, compiling and maintaining a register
that lists all the certified boats, helping its members during the
various phases of the restoration projects, the conservation and storage
of the members’ boats, finding boatyards with skilled shipwrights,
organising and promoting national and international boat meetings on
lakes, at sea or in rivers and lagoons. ASDEC has also been a federated
club of ASI (Italian Historical Automotoble club) since 2005. The
current President of ASDEC is the Milanese lawyer Fabio Malcovati, the
vice President is the well-known naval designer Paolo Lodigiani. The
position of Honorary President is covered by GianAlberto Zanoletti,
‘heart and soul of ASDEC’ for well over 27 years. Not only is
GianAlberto Zanoletti the founder and President of the Association, he
is also the founder of the Lariano Boat Museun in Pianello Lario on Lake
Como; where over 400 historical boats are conserved (www.museobarcalariana.it).
