Thank
you to all who joined us for the first Yacht Club Leadership Forum on
Wednesday, April 22 featuring US Sailing President Cory Sertl and US
Sailing Chief Executive Officer Jack Gierhart. Cory and Jack were joined
by commodores from sailing organizations around the country as they
discussed the many challenges facing their yacht clubs caused by the
COVID-19 outbreak. Topics of discussion included youth programs, racing
and regattas, and supporting club members.
During
the Forum, several organizations expressed an interest in sharing
samples of materials, resources, and information they are developing for
their members. We will help share this information through our newly
updated Organizational Resources & COVID-19 Information webpage.
