Moment of Drama for Red Bull as the French Hold Their Nerve

Red Bull Extreme Sailing was leading when mainsheet trimmer Hans Peter Steinacher went overboard, a rope caught around his ankle. He collided with the rudder suffering a cut to his head and was dragged along before Hagara’s crew could stop the boat. Skipper Roman Hagara explains what happened… Hans Peter was immediately bought ashore and transfered to hospital – he was discharged later with a few stitches and an all-clear full physical check.
