Luna Rossa accede alle finali della LV Cup - Luna Rossa advances to LV Cup finals

Sabato 10 agosto, San Francisco: Luna Rossa Challenge 2013 vince le semifinali della Louis Vuitton Cup dopo aver battuto per la quarta volta consecutiva il team svedese di Artemis Racing e si qualifica per le finali della Louis Vuitton Cup che si svolgeranno dal 17 al 30 agosto.

Max Siorena ha dichiarato: “Sono molto orgoglioso di questo risultato. Voglio ringraziare l’equipaggio e lo shore team per quello che ha fatto in questi giorni, per lo sviluppo della barca. Abbiamo sempre detto che il nostro obiettivo era arrivare alla finale della Vuitton Cup e ci siamo arrivati. Contro un team che è andato in acqua un anno e mezzo prima di noi e che ha potuto fare un lungo sviluppo tecnologico della barca. Ora faremo il massimo per farci trovare pronti contro Team New Zealand, in questa terza finale della Vuitton Cup per Luna Rossa.”

Saturday August 10th, San Francisco: Luna Rossa Challenge wins the Louis Vuitton Cup semifinals, defeating for the fourth time in a row Artemis Racing and advancing to the Louis Vuitton Cup Final, that will take place from the 17th to the 30th of August.

Max Sirena declared:  “I’m very proud of this result. I want to thank all the crew and the shore team for the hard job that they have put into these last few days. We always said that our goal was to gain access to the Louis Vuitton Cup final and we did it. We won against a team that started its campaign one year and a half before us and that could develop the boat much more than us. Now we’ll do our best to be ready to race against Emirates Team new Zealand. For Luna Rossa this will be the third Vuitton Cup final .”
