TERZA TAPPA - verso Las Palmas: Dove eravamo rimasti? Ah si, a Isla
Canela, dopo le positive disavventure della seconda tappa, culminate con
la rottura
di un timone. Positive perché non bisogna dimenticare che il loro
viaggio di avvicinamento verso Dakar rappresenta un importantissimo
allenamento e un indispensabile test per la preparazione del tentativo
di record. Ogni problema capitato e risolto è da considerare un
successo. Ieri nel tardo pomeriggio Andrea, Luca e "Jrata3 Wullschleger Group" avevano lasciato il piccolo porto spagnolo alla
volta di Las Palmas. Oggi, alle 11:45 (09:45 GMT) hanno tagliato il parallelo corrispondente a Gibilterra, una settantina di miglia nautiche
a ovest dello Stretto. La cronaca del loro viaggio ricomincia.
Ora affrontano il profondo blu dell'Atlantico e fra qualche giorno, con
aumentata esperienza giungeranno a Las Palmas, in Gran Canaria. Jrata3
rimarrà circa un mese per eventuali altre modifiche e poi, verso fine
novembre, la quarta conclusiva tappa verso Dakar, in attesa, a inizio
dicembre di affrontare la sfida della traversata a tempo record verso la

TROISIEME ETAPE: Isla Canela - Las Palmas
Où en étions-nous? Ah oui, Isla Canela,
après les positives mésaventures de la
deuxième étape culminée avec la rupture d'un gouvernail. Positive parce
que nous ne devons pas oublier que leur voyage vers Dakar
est un entrainement très important et un test crucial pour la
préparation de la tentative de record. Chaque problème
résolu est considéré comme un succès.
Hier, dans l'après-midi Andrea, Luca et "Jrata3 Wullschleger Group" avaient quitté le petit port espagnol
en direction de Las Palmas.
Aujourd'hui à 11h45 (09h45 GMT) ils ont coupé le parallèle correspondant à Gibraltar,
environ soixante-dix miles nautiques à l'ouest du Détroit.
L'histoire de leur voyage recommence. Maintenant, ils affrontent le bleu profond de l'Atlantique et dans quelques jours
ils rejoindront Las Palmas de Gran Canarie avec une expérience accrue. Jrata3 restera un mois environ pour d'autres, éventuelles
modifications et puis, vers la fin de novembre, la quatrième et dernière étape vers Dakar, en attente, au début
décembre d'affronter le défi de la traversée à temps de record vers la Guadeloupe.

THIRD LEG: Isla Canela - Las Palmas
Where were we? Ah yes, Isla Canela, after
the positive misadventures of the second stage, culminating with a
broken
rudder. Positive because we must not forget that their journey to Dakar
represents a very important training and a necessary test for the
preparation
of the record attempt. Each happened and solved problem is to consider a
success.
Yesterday in late afternoon Andrea, Luca and "Jrata3 Wullschleger Group" had left the small spanish port to reach Las
Palmas.
Today at 11:45 (09:45 GMT) they cut the parallel corresponding to Gibraltar, about seventy nautical miles west of the
Strait.
The chronicle of their journey restarts.
Now they face the deep blue of the Atlantic and in a few days will
arrive in
Las Palmas, Grand Canary Island, with increased experience. Jrata3 will
remain there a month to any other changes and then towards the end of
November
the fourth final stage to Dakar. In early December the start to the
record attempt from Dakar to Guadeloupe.
